To me and this JMO, the full dressers take away from the experience. Don't get me wrong, they are nice rides but I bought a bike to get away from a radio and the other distractions that gadgets can bring. I hop on my SERK or my sportbikes when I had them and just twist the throttle and go. NO worries about what channel to listen to or is my GPS working. I did a good stint on a Gold Wing several years ago in Sturgis and had a blast but I caught myself listening to the radio more and not paying attention to the road. We were doing a buck 20 on some roads and thats where my mind needed to be. You guys can have the dressers, they are GREAT bikes but just not for me.

Good guys there, and Gainsville so far are the only msrp folks to have responded...... just no delivery date yet.

It will boil down to "Who wants Mikers money"!!!!

I do, hell I'll open it up to anyone who wants to give me money!

Sorry, I don't speak new yorker...

...but my personal opinion, which has been kept to myself until now and will be kept to myself after this post is that a RK is a great all around bike if you can have only one bike, that is the one to have...but it does not even come close to the overall capabilities of having both a Full Dresser and a Cruiser.  I got my cruiser in 2003 and got rid of my RK in 2004 for an SEEG and have never looked back.

Bill

I look back all the time.
Wondering when those guys that don't have Electra Glides and Road Glides are going to see the light!
But the view is only in the rear view mirror so I don't take it to serious!
Wait till you look back and see that trailer following you.
That will be a different view!

 :2vrolijk_21:

And Spike!
Your right! They are great bikes.
Each to their own.

Hey lookie there, what a nice lookin bike Chip.

Update:  Gainsville HD will hold the S/B UCSE4 slot for me with no deposit required until a ship date can be determined.
They and Jims, St Pete have been the most responsive and amicable of all the dealers in Florida so far, except for TFB, who I did not bother requesting any info from.

Time to detail the SerkGlide..

And yes I know this is off topic,

But what about saving the 2 into 1 to from the SERK to go on the 09

like I have never been off topic before?

My personal opinion is that the Harley website photos suck.
I have a 09 Screaming Eagle brochure and the 09 SERG3 and the 09 SEUC4 in silver don't even look like the same color. My other personal opinion is that in person all those colors are going to be outstanding!

I can't wait!

I gave my stock exhaust away....like the dumbass that I am... :-\
I am getting a little tired of setting off car alarms in my neighboorhood.   ;)

Performance and appearance are top notch with this pipe, but I will look for something with similar flow characteristics and less bombasity after my butt heals from this deal...

And Don,

even in the brochure the red is bland.
And I know that's not true!
go by the dealers saturday!
You need to check out the new frames.
VERY STURDY.
and maybe they might have a red one!
