License Plate Relocation
« on: July 19, 2008, 11:05:49 AM »

Hey,

My 2006 SECVO ultra is at the stealer right now getting the tour pack made detachable.   I was thinking about doing the Kuryakyn curved Plate mount part # 3163.  The dealer said they can do it but they might have to drill holes in the rear fender.   The plate will be mounted under the rear brake lights.

Is there any way to install without drilling holes?

Thank you!!

That's the standard tail light assembly on an '07/'08 SERK.

I started with Bruiser's #4012 license plate bar eliminator, HD part#53702-04A Street Glide brake light assembly and then bolted on Kuryakyn #3163 curved licese plate frame.

That's a pretty common upgrade and can be done without drilling any holes. HD makes a kit and you can substitute the plate hanger with the Kury unit.
