Made 6,000 miles on mine. I have booked the bike into New Orleans HD during my USA trip for another back tire. Should have done about another 6,000 miles by then and I reckon it will be about ready for a new one.

Front tire 9K, badly cupped, rear almost 13K and still fine.

I'm with Howie and Nige, 6-8K, and Howie and my bike are a little lighter than the full dressers.

About 10k on the first one  8) and 60 MILES on the second one.  ??? Picked up a nail. Dang I hate when that happens.  :( I'm on my third rear tire now and only have about 13k total on the bike. I bought one of those tire plug kits and a little 12V air compressor that I adapted to plug into my heated gear outlet.  :)

I wanted to try a big smokey burnout with the "new" 60 mile tire, but wasn't sure of the technique -and I didn't want the nail to come flying out...
