As Don said if the Cruise is functioning its not the sensor. If you need to replace the speedo you can order it from HD with the actual milage on it. If its under the ESP then take it in to a good shop and let them have a look at it.

Nope.  Haven't taken it anywhere yet thought.
Today I saw 60 to 10 and then while at 65-70ish  it was reading 20-30 MPH for 5 minutes......
Figure I will fry whatever it is and then it should be easy to figure it out.... :nixweiss:

Yep, these guages are the cat meow! I have sold / installed several sets and they are really cool. If I had a Blue / Black SEEG there would be a set on it for sure. One of the cool features of these is the recording ability of your 0-60 MPH and 1/4 mile times.

Have used their pods in some street rod projects and had their speedo instrument in my last Road King.  It is certainly neat stuff.

The speedo in the red bike failed once under warranty.  If it failed again later I'd be tempted....

Then I probably wouldn't have waited...  ::)

Red LEDs would be a poor choice with the sun behind you though.  Sometimes it really is function over form.  Darn.....

That sounds expensive Steve.  Until you remember that Harley charges $74,000,000 (approximately) for a replacement speedometer by itself.  Once that is factored in it's a bargain!
