That's healing nicely Scott.  The wound site really did score well having enough skin to work with and not having to graft.  The other pictures would've been a lot more fun though. ::)

Had to be some sort of operation to cause this?
Looks like they're still operating.

Yep, it is healing well.  I see the Doc again tomorrow.  The only thing I have going on is there may be a nerve to close to the surface in one spot.  We are in a wait and see mode, but I may have to have that nerve trimmed back and buried a bit better, but I won't know for a couple of weeks.  Hopefully, it will get less sensitive at it heals.

And yeah, the pictures would be fun for some - not so much for others...    :sweatdrop:   :puke:   :huepfenlol2:

WOW, sorry for your accident.  I've gotta admit the first pic I saw, I thought you were effin' around and just folded your finger over as a gag pic. Then I saw the others and when I started reading the explanation about the 4th of July, all I could think of next was some kind of Jerky Boys story about a firecracker that looks like an empty roll of toilet paper and a dangling digit. Again I'm sorry and it sucks, but they say in the future we'll evolve to the point where there will be no pinkies and nobody can accuse you of holding a wine glass kinda fruity. Good luck with the healing and hopefully you won't have to get it trimmed down any.

:nixweiss:   nope   :nixweiss:

It goes something like this.  He took his dog in the vet to give sperm samples.  The vet tried to encourage Ron to come to the back and they would show him how to do it so he would not have to take the into the vet anymore.  Ron said "no thanks!!"  The last thing he wanted was the dog following him around that house begging for him to give another sample.  The dog saying "Come on Ron, you know I ain't got any thumbs man!!  I need your help!! I don't have any thumbs!!"

Anyways, I am glad you are ok and have a proactive, positive approach to it.
