MIRRORS
« on: July 23, 2008, 06:31:26 PM »

I have a 2003 cvo roadking. Over the weekend some dumbaxx ran into my mirror and scratched it on the glass so I need to replace the mirrors. I 1st looked at the Harley Aluminator billet convex Mirrors (207.00) They have a long stem and I have looked at the kuryakyn Magnum short stem for 76 dollars they are not convex mirrors. Does any body have any suggestions of what they have put on there Road KIng. The Factory ones have short stems and large mirrors. Does the long stems that come on the harley aluminator look bad..And I dont mind spending 100 more for better mirrors.
Thanks for your help solving this matter

I went with the HD mirrors. I think they work well with the overall look.

I have the mirrors pictured by ad2..  Bought them from an Ebay vendor a couple years ago for $79.95..  Exact same as the MOCO mirror less the HD emblem on the back.

I am using these mirrors from H-D. I think they look great and complement the bike. Caution: They are quite small and tend to vibrate, if not accurately mounted.

Ride safely,

I went ahead a bought the Harley Mirrors..I was going too buy the mirrors from Harley for 69 bucks but they werent convex lens..Man what a big diff. it makes. We were looking at the mirrors side by side and you can see alot more behind ya with convex lens. I bought the oval billet syle mirrors 1962-98 for 199.99.
