I stopped by my dealer this afternoon. No one had heard of "the fix" or had seen the letter that I left a copy of. As for bikes. the '09's were there waiting for PDI. They did not tell me which ones. They said that the CVO's would not be seen for two months.

One of the techs came along and said, hey Chip, want me to take the saddlebag and side cover off so you can see the new frame and swingarm.

I was in a hurry. He did tell me about the swing arm and gave me the '09 brochure but told me they didn't have enough of the parts books to go around (I'll work on the owner on this). They didn't have the SE brochure (so they say).

I was told that dealerships are calling hd on monday to their single point of contacts, and getting delivery dates then.

I saw them 2 days after the announcement.  One dealer had a SERG on Thursday and the other dealer has A SEUC.

Picked up my new 09 SE Ultra last night and putting on my break in miles asap.  Autumn haze color - love it!  Traded in my 07 SE Ultra - still have the 05 SE Electraglide.

Just a guess here, but does he still have alot of 08's
That could be why.
(Some) of the dealers around here are not rolling out new bikes either, but they all have alot of 08's and even some 07's left.

I live pretty close to Pittsburgh, actually about 1hr se of the burg.
Nice mountain area, close to 7 springs, great riding.
I bought my present bike from Z&M cycle in Greensburg.
Needed to take it back a few time, great attitude and service so far. 

How about this, I was riding today, my right side passenger foot board fell off going down the road.
No chit, did not even have a passenger.
Bolt snapped off, not sure why.
Stopped at Dealer on way home, no prob just ordered parts set up date to come in.
Still pisses me off, cheap Chinese bolts.
Just venting

Was it the whole floorboard or just the insert? I ask because I lost the insert after about three months. Dealer replaced it under warranty. About two months ago I noticed it was about to fall off again. I took it in and they "super" glued it on.

I live in Erie, which is 220 miles from Cox's, but that where I had to pick up my 08 SEUC

It was the entire thing.
the main support bolt was broken off inside frame.
I understand stress on bolts and how they can sheer, but there was no one but me on the bike.
Still alittle upset over that.
Also looks like my top heat shield was rubbing the bracket of foot rest.   D&D fatcat.
This brought back memories of my first Harley 79 glide, would ride it at chit would fall off.   
The only thing is bike was much cheaper.    And you expected it.

That sucks to hear,
however, you are good to go and nothing serious happened to you or your bike.
