Well, they were close.  They were in the cue ( ;D ) to see him, but they cut the line off somewhere in front of them.  Probably wasn't the best way to do it since many people, including Nige and Jan, had been in line for some time already at that point.  Nige said he tried to plead his case (CVOs flown from England, 6,800 miles and counting, on the way to the 105th, etc.), but it didn't do any good. :(
 
I was wondering about the tatoo when I saw the photos, too. :nixweiss:

I dropped some tomtom contact information off on Mel's bike this morning, since he is having some trouble with his GPS unit.  As luck would have it, Willie, Bill, Karen, Jim Zeimer and the rest of the Harley contingent were just getting ready to fire up.  Their PR guy was taking a group photo.  I did not want to bother them since they were getting ready to roll, but it would have been cool to at least shake his hand.  Oh well, maybe next time.

If you see a copper Street Glide going down the road with a guy in a half helmet, goggles, and black mask (I guess to cover up the signature white beard . . . it's Willie! :2vrolijk_21:

Cant make the #'s out but suspect they are part #'s for 110 pistons, barrels, lifters,acr's, ect. ect. ect.  ;D

When Hogasm and I went to the CVO meeting at Rapid City during Sturigs 06 Willie stated that the SG was his favorite. I had my street glide there so that was pretty cool, it made me feel special especially since he said it in front of all the CVOers.
