I'm probably one of the ones that has a lot of chrome on their bike and I've never had any problems w/it getting to hot.

Gary...........I don't know how long you've had that chrome inner, and it obviously isn't a challenge for you.............and that is a good thing for you, since you love chrome so much. Proud for ya, D00d! Rock on!

I, on the other hand, happen to love contrast, and am a FIRM believer that too much chrome is......in my own personal opinion........dare I say...........TACKY!

Besides the tackiness, I'm not gonna introduce what might be another problem for which I have neither the patience, time, or money to expend.

I will, however, speculate that if you run 50 miles at 80mph in 90+ degree temps with me down US 72, pull over, drink a beer, then shoot both our primaries with an IR thermometer, mine will be cooler............which means powdercoat dissipates heat better than chrome. Again, my own personal opinion.
