I notice in your pic you still have the standard back rest for driver. Question is this do you still have issues, pushing you forward, digging in back etc.....
By the way bars look great.

No issues pushing me forward anymore and the backrest never did dig in. The pushing me forward on the seat was only at very high speed on the freeway with no windshield, where my shoulders were the pivot point and my head and upper body went back and my butt inched forward ever so slightly. With stock bars and no windshield at high speed, my upper body and shoulders leaned forward preventing my butt from inching forward at all. With the 14 inch Chubbys, it's not an issue if I ride at high speed with a windshield. I am very pleased and happy with the new bars.

Speaking of backrests, any recommendations for a more supportive one?

Many people have changed the entire seat and back rest completely. Some have placed washers in support bracket as well. I am going to use my friends 1/2 pipe bender. Offset it that way I can lean back just a tad bit more.

As many of you know I've been in a search for new bars for my SERK. As you can see by the pic below at 6'4 250lbs I look like I'm riding a mini-bike and feel like I'm water skiing on this scoot. May have a long road trip in the near future and would like to put this behind me. Any help or suggestions appreciated?? Thanks

I installed the Wild one 10" chubby apes. I am 5-10". These bar are way better than the stock bars, but I am thinking of changing again to 12.5 or 14" apes this winter. Hopefully one of these choices will give me a little more pullback.  :2vrolijk_21:

I guess I should also say this was on a 08 SERK. No issues with the flyby wire or anything else yet.  :bananarock:
