You know, I kinda do, and wife definitely does, miss the '00. But I didn't really have it long enough to make memories to miss. It was a neat ride for sure but this new one is just so awesome in so many ways that I think we'll both adjust in real short order. I'm maybe 3 or 4 days away from that point. .

  I can tell  you're pretty excited about it, Jim!  That's great, man!  The new one must be a really neat piece based on everything you've said about it.  It's been great to read your reports!

Black mid - frame heat shields look ok. Kinda covered up the "hole" where the cross over isn't.

I've had this derby cover on three 2 cams. Worked well on all three.

920 Miles and had the !,000 mile done. Biggest improvement bar none is the shifting and ability to find neutral. Went w/ Bel -Ray this time but will probably go redline next. Lost the Syn 3 out of all and the bike's much happier (I can tell).

B.R.in the tranny. Amsoil in the motor and H D primary in the primary.

Actually, one of the doors on the '00 was askew so I picked them up on eBay to replace it. Just hung onto them when I traded.

               And people wonder why we hang onto old parts

Now if I could just come up w/ something really creatively useful to put in place of the rain gauge? Don't want to go w/ a temp. gauge as it's just something else to worry over.
