If you think it's the journey not the destination you don't live in Nebraska.

Have been "lurking" for awhile after finding this site searching 07 Screamin Eagle on Yahoo.
Best find since duct tape. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Hello, friends,
I'm newbie from France.
I arrive on this website by a search on google.
I have ordered my first CVO (FLHTCUSE2) in July 2006 and the delivery date is April 2007.
I ride with an HD since 11 years (Softail Heritage and RK).
In Europe, we have not exactly the same model and I have searched more informations.
In France, only 10 FLHTCUSE2 would be sold. It's not many and it's not easy to share our experiences, questions and opinions.
Your website is really fine for the CVO Owners and I thank all for your contribution.
Best regards
Jacques

PS : I have not a very good english but also it's good exercise.

Welcome to the site Jacques!

I admire you patience, I don't know if I would wait a year for my buke, but you will find the wait was worth it.

And your English is great!  Much better than my French...

Keep in touch [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Welcome Jacques, with most of the really active posters in Maggie Valley this week things around here may be a bit slow but you'll meet many people that will be happy to keep your time occupied until April when the new scooter arrives.

As for English, I am certainly glad we don't have to show you how good/poor our French is!

Thanks for your welcome !
In France we have only three weeks for to order a CVO.
The start is during the HD convetion in the middle of July and the next three weeks.
We have not many CVO for the french market, not enought for all orders.
If you put your order the fist week, the delivery date is December, the second week is delivered in April and the third week will be for June 2007.
When we put the order, we know nothing concerning the details of the bike. More !
The european model have different equipment than yours in regard the european laws.
But we have nothing more than you !
For example :
We have active input and output on the exhaust and A/C, not dual bulb halogen headlamp, not XM satellite radio, not the same gear ratio, we have a chrome trim on the front fender and the license plate is under the rear tail light and perhaps the list is not finished.

We need to change the exhaust and the A/C for to found the HD sound.
I read all tips about this subject for to learn how you manage that in States.

Best regards
Jacques

I hear that, I was on a bus in Mexico one time with a large group and one of the folks decided to compliment the driver by saying, "Our driver is mucho grande, hell even drunk I knew that was a problem.  Trouble was the guy was pretty big.  Maybe it was a Freudian slip but not good when going down a twisty narrow road by the ocean.

Everyone had a good laugh though.

Hello, friends,
I'm newbie from France...

I have very bad typing - so don't worry about English.  Welcome to this most fabulous site Jacques.   [smiley=2vrolijk_09.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif]You will really enjoy it here.  There is a ton of information.  [smiley=2vrolijk_09.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif] [smiley=vrolijk17.gif]

You live in a fabulous part of the world. My husband and I spent 8 years living in Mons, Belgium, and we did a lot of travel.  If there was some way for us to retire to the Provence area of France, that would be our #1 choice of retirement locations.
