Changing those indicator lights will be the biggest challenge. I'd like to flush mount them into the console. Still looking for ideas to get them out of the riser clamp! Howie, ok I get it that you might not like them, you know a "taste" sort of thing...but what are you looking for, I mean what would you have preferred.....something more elaborate?
The indicator lights on a FX, FXR, or on a Dyna for that matter have never been of "elegance" anyway....they were always seen as a necessary "basic" element....nothing more nothing less.....now saying that I don't intend to change your mind.....lol that's not my point....I am just curious what you would have found appropriate......
BTW, am I stuck with those ugly reflectors that are mounted on the rear fender?ABSOLUTELY NOT....smiles....they come off EASILY with dental floss and 5 minutes of going up and down the area above the reflector with a hair dryer or heat gun.....very simply then take some "rubbing alcohol lightly on a soft rag to pick up any "gummy" residue and rewax.....
COMES OFF EASY. I have done it.

That bike has been in a garage for most of it's life.....in a "cool" garage....smiles....with heat that stuff will come loose like it's no tomorrow....with dental flosss.....wait a minute this was suppose to be an "UPDATE" and all I am doing is repeating myself.....Ownership is a BEAUTIFUL THING......all of the decisions we get to make....LOOKS AT YOU AND HANDS YOU THE HEAT GUN....you know what to do......and begins to do my best impression from Water Boy with Adam Sandler.....yououuu cannnnnnn dddddooooooo ittttttttttttt!!!!
