Get one as close to stock as possible. Look for the bag liners, rider and passenger backrests, chopped tourpack, lowers, exhaust with shark fin end caps, dust cover, rear pegs...anyone else care to add to the list ?  Doc

...oh, of course Triple Red.  :2vrolijk_21:  Doc

I just went and looked at Carlos' post...his bike is incredible.  If it was just a few miles nearer to KC I'd be taking some time off from work to get a closer look.  It is still on my list but I've got a lead on one that is closer and looks pretty clean.

...life is a funny dog, I actually flew to KC to buy this bike, shipped it to DC...destiny is callin' her back ;D...can't you hear her?...SCREAMING!

I just found a CVO I've wanted in CA. The members here are amazing. Kind folks out there looked at the bike for me, picked it up, and I'm shipping it home next week. $725 from CA to NYC. VA to KC should be maybe $450, I guess. Call Keyboard for shipping rates. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy that bike if it's the one you're after. Highly doubtful you'll find a finer specimen with all those accessories. We like to keep things in the family here!

I say if ya want a triple red SERG, just make the deal! ;)

Are you saying you found one that's been that well cared for, with that low of miles, with ALL of the accessories the bike came with new, priced in that range and close to where you live? :nixweiss:

If that's not what you're saying, buy Carlos' bike. :2vrolijk_21: :huepfenlol2:

Is the "other one" the bike that is listed down in Tahlequah, OK?  If so be very careful there.  It's been listed three times and the types of lack of communication that come from the seller have made me think the listing might be suspect.

Obviously I should have been in the market a little earlier and I could have cut out the middle man...but probably wouldn't have saved any money.  Plus I'm sure the bike was in good shape when you picked it up but it is now in GREAT shape!!!  I'm thinking...

If I'm in the market for red SERG right now, that bike of Carlos' is a no-brainer.  Somebody buy the bike! :soapbox: ;D

Ditto. Someone buy it so the temptation is gone. And no Carlos isn't paying me.

I can't say all that!!!  I've found one with just a few more miles (12,xxx) within an easy drive (300 miles) of where I live.  Of concern is that the owner hasn't responded to some very basic questions that I have/had about the bike.  Such as some details on how it has been cared for and what other accessories he may also have with the bike.  The bike is currently listed on ebay (see link) and the high bid is $10,220.

There seems to be a few items replaced:

"Extras include; custom matching grips, flootboards, shifter pegs, passanger pegs. Custom chrome horn cover. Custom exhaust with high flow air filter kit. Front and rear turn signals. 1550cc 95 cubic inch big bore motor. Custom chrome mirrors. Chrome clutch and brake levers. Chromed out front end. Custom matching derby cover, Inspection cover, Air Cleaner cover, and timre cover."

I do know that the first thing you are going to have to do, which ever one you buy, is change those ugly hinges to the new chrome ones. I notice them now every time I look at one of these tour paks.

Been watching that RG for a "flipper".  If you're on it, I'm off for a last minute bid.
