I'll take 500. There are a bunch of CVO's here in Reno which also hosts the Street Vibrations event every year . 3-5 K bikes.  I figure I'll park my SERK on Virginia street and leave a stack of cards on the seat.  By the way I have been designing event posters, shirts and B-cards and that's a nice looking card.  Good Job. I put business cards on all the CVO's that were in Reno at last year's Street Vibrations.  Let's see, you can join us for the Yosemite weekend coming up........  http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=event_other;action=display;num=1119150752

and then again, for this years West Coast CVO Owners GTG and ride during Street Vibrations right there in your back yard..........
http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=event_CVO;action=display;num=1097284958

and here.......   http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=event_CVO;action=display;num=1111907001

and view a couple posts from last years (sorry, all the pictures were deleted by a hacker to our web site here, a month ago)........  http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=event_other;action=display;num=1096103767

I own some copy centers, I would like to take a shot at some design ideas.  I would also suggest that we come up with something that could be common to all CVO owners, and drop all the nomenclature and pictures.  A hot graphic, that could become our logo, with a tag line that tells it all would be a nice card.  Whatever we do, I would like to see if we can get someone to produce patches that would tie to the cards, since there is not much support from the dealers and MOCO in this area either.  I can produce it in Photoshop, and send it to your printer, if everyone that wants cards likes the layout.  It can be posted here for everyone to comment and suggest changes.

Striker I can't speak for everyone else of course but it seems like a wonderful idea to me.  So long as Naitram both doesn't mind being relieved of the work  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] AND likes the end product that will be representing his website then the whole idea just gives me the warm fuzzies.

I'll still be glad to do the legwork with the printer and handle the mailing afterwords or would defer if you have printing capability in-house.  Make sure the idea is ok with Naitram and, if so, please don't hesitate to offer up some visual suggestions for cards and patches.

I would like some input from others, as to what they think they would like to see on the card, or what they think should be the composition of the logo.  I like the price of $15 per 500, and would think the printer that is being used is the best offer.

For logo ideas, it is best to keep it simple, as well as the card being uncluttered.
Think of what is a common thread to all CVO owners, is it:
The uniqueness of a CVO?
The power?
Turning heads?
The esteem?
What is it that brings us all together, beside the fact we all ride?

The printer I use here has them batched in boxes of 250 if I remember correctly.  That's not very many though.  So I'd suggested buying them in 500 card batches.  If I'm remembering correctly what my last batch of business cards cost we'll be able to get them for about $15.00 per 500 cards and that should include getting them mailed to you.  Hopefully my memory sucks and it'll be a little cheaper  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Hey Twolane,

I would be interested in 500 if the price is $15.00. Let me know I will be more then happy to hand them out at Sturgis when I got his year for 2 weeks. Think I can get an order placed and to me by Mid July before I go?

i'm thinking of droping the model designations this time getting to be toooo many to squeze in and then we wont need to redesign each year

Thats a great idea..and maybe drop flhrsei.org and use the "www.cvoharley.com" Its easy to remember and covers all prior, present and future models. Use a patch design or logo instead of a bike...just my .02

No, wouldn't expect that at all.  We'll not even be beginning a printer's run until after the dealer meeting in July so we'll know if anything is exciting enough in the 06s to warrant inclusion.

The first "other" whose opinion should be considered is Naitram.   He owns the site that's being represented after all.  PM him and see what he thinks.  Then run with it !  [smiley=beerchug.gif]
