Nice Dodge. I looked at one close up the other day and it was impressive! I bought a brand new 1973 Callenger Rally for $2442.00, tax included. I wheeled and dealed a set of floor mats and mudflaps to boot! The good old days. I do love my GT mustang too.  :2vrolijk_21:

I was at the Dodge dealership the other day getting service done on my Pickup and outside sitting in the new car lot they had 4 SRT Challengers and 6 RT's plus another SRT sitting on the showroom floor.  $45K for the SRT.  A little too rich for my blood, but they are sure sweet looking cars.   :2vrolijk_21:

i too have decided to wait until the hype fades because I will not pay more than MSRP for anything.  I think owning one of these will be a great change from the Hummer H3 Alpha i have now and the gas mileage will be about the same

Yeah, $5000 to $10000 over MSRP is common. The least I've seen is $2500 and the most is $28000. Can you imagine asking $70,000 for a $42,000 car? I know of one that went for $68,000. He wanted it bad.

Is that anything like Rossmeyer asking (and selling) $35k SEUC's for $49,995.00?

After I put on the R/T emblem.
I paid smack in the middle between MSRP and Invoice. The R/T's can be bought at invoice now with a little shopping. The B-5 Blue ones can be ordered now. They will be a limited run. The same color in the SRT's is called the spring special, another low volume run. Rumor is they will make a small run of bright yellow ones before the end of the 2009 year.

I believe the New Challenger may have some incentives on them now.  Worth a check if you are considering a new Challenger.

Local dealer had one, orange in color, a few months ago.  It was roped off as it was sold.  Now there are two, black in color, that I believe are not sold as they are not roped off and you can kick the tires if you want.

I've had mine and I have my memories.  I don't need a new one to bring those memories back.
