Dood, Thanks again for the Tour of your neck of the woods. It was Great to hook up and meet.
For all the other site members this Guy is really Amazing. Dood forgot to mention that He worked a double shift and still made time to take my wife and I on a relaxing back road tour thru Virgina. I look forward to getting to Maggie Valley in October to Ride with Him again.

Thanks for the post, Dave...I have not had the pleasure of meeting Dood yet, but look forward to that experience.  A person can tell he's a great guy, just in chatting with him here, so I can only imagine what it will be like to shake his hand, ride with him, and have a couple of cold ones while sharing stories from colorful pasts.

Glad you guys had a good time!!

Hey Gary, not a problem.  Yes, the original photos were deleted by the hacker last year.......but it's not a problem for others to use this thread for exactly what the title indicates. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Nope didn't take him to Hooters. We don't have one here locally, that's a road trip. No "Mrs." with me she was off doing other stuff Saturday.

Had the opportunity today to meet some more members, and get together w/some I've known for awhile. Yesterday while reading posts I found out that VAZHOG, and VaEagle were meeting relatively close to me (I64 & Rt. 522 in Gumspring Va.) and PM'd them and asked if they mind if I joined them. I also PM'd Mr.&Mrs. WeCVO and asked if they wanted to join us since they are fairly close to the meeting place also.

After doing the initial meet/greet, get to know everybody chatter we decided to take a ride and get something to eat. Since Mr.WeCVo knows more about the roads in this area (from what I've heard about the ride the "WeCVO's" took on Saturday I think he learns/finds out about them by getting lost, but that's our secret right Mrs.WeCVO ;)) he took off in the lead. We had a nice ride on some two-lane twisties then ended up in Mineral Va. and had something to eat.

It was a great day to ride, and great meeting new faces to go with the screen names here, and finally getting to ride w/the WeCVO's.

VaEagle, Mr./Mrs.VAZHOG, it was a pleasure meeting you and sharing time in the wind. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Mr./Mrs.WeCVO we finally got a chance to do some riding and I enjoyed it, can't wait until we do it again. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Below is a picture of our CVO's lined up where we met with (from left to right) Mr. WeCVO, Mrs.VAZHOG, VaEagle, and VAZHOG (Me & Mrs.WeCVO are taking pictures).

Wow, what a wonderful day, getting to ride with CVO friends on a sunny day in Virginia.  I posted some pics in my gallery; http://flhrsei.org/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=26768.

We got to meet, look at each other's chrome, chat and get to know each other.  Then we got to go for a nice meandering ride through our gorgeous countyside.  Very nice two lane roads, no traffic, lotsa twisties, we had a blast.

And, I asked permission to post this, but it seems the ultras must have come with a lot of extra weight - that powered amp, the xm/gps/leather tour pak/three color paint etc. cause the    ;)

:PThe SEEGs were faster than the UCs  were.  So were still better!
haa haa haa!

 ;D  ;D   ;D   ;D   ;D   ;D

We had oh so very much fun.  Let's do it again.

Wayne do you live on this side or the other side of the mountain?

I'm still not sure but I know I'm on this side of the mountains  :)

Dave and I have touring bikes with CB's we have everything we need to arrive in comfort ( we don't have to ride fast to get something may need)  and besides we were talking about the nice country side and laffing about you'all cause you couldn't hear us.

We had a very nice day meeting with  everyone and looking at their awsome machines.

Thanks for posting the Great Pictures - Lynette's is  still Talking ablut How Nice your Cherry ride is
