Good choice, HogBreath!  I've got an '03 DuraMax with 210,000 miles on it.  I mean hard miles, too.  WFO, if you get my drift.  Still gets between 20 and 24 MPG, depending on how heavy my foot is.  Good lookin' Truck!  :2vrolijk_21: Later--HUBBARD

Thanks Carl, I looked at the Fords, I just didn't like them. What I'd really want is a Chevy with the Cummins engine and Allison Transmission.

Sweet truck Ken.  Unfortunately, it doesn't have a Cummins, otherwise, there'd be one of those bad boys in my driveway. :2vrolijk_21:

I'm anxious to pull a trailer somewhere. I was told a few years ago the Chevy 5.3 is as strong as the 5.7 I say Bullchit.

I'll bring the dresser. If it happened to be pouring down rain, I'd trailer and bring everything, the dresser, the V-Rod and the new Chevy. Oh, and JD of course.

I agree Ken, I can't believe it's as strong either, and now that Cummins has the 6.7 with the Dodge 6-speed tranny it's a hard combo to beat.  I'd love to have the Cummins/Allison combo though.  That would be idea.

Just bought an 08 quad cab long bed, 6.7 Cummins with the 6 auto.  Still getting used to the 6 speed auto (lots of shifting), but man it's got the power.

JD just saw that post and started crying.

That box in the back has the running boards. They were damn near $750

Those were tears of joy?? *smirks*

Anytime Jorge!! I think it's all YOUR fault after bringing your gorgeous truck here!! ;)

It's a beauty for sure I'll be riding in style, ONLY the best for JD, ya know??  :huepfenlol2:

Congrats on that, hacksaw.  Tough to top that Cummins.  Mine is an 05 5.9, 1T, quad cab, dually, 4X4, with the 48RE 4 speed auto into 3.73s.  I can't imagine having two more gears.  Plenty of power for me.  I ain't got nuthin' against Ford or Chevy, but they don't have a Cummins Turbo Diesel.  Having been around CTDs since 1984, I'm sold on them........so Dodge it is for me.

Henry,
I have to agree with you.  I have an 06 5.9, 3/4T, Mega Cab, 4x4 with the 48RE into a 3.73, single wheel rear axle.  It has so much power and pulls my 36 ft 5th wheel toyhauler with no problems.  Until someone else offers the Cummins in a pickup, it will be a Dodge for me.   :2vrolijk_21:
