I am personally banging my head against the wall re: Silverdale Hd. I bought my bike there in June and took it back for first service because I had warranty issues. Speaker dead, heated seat rear does what it wants, right crash bar chrome imperfection. Warranty person said they would send me the parts because I was so far away. After 4 weeks of waiting I was told they wouldn't send them because of cost.
I then talked to Jered the service mgr because if I am going to go to silverdale I need to be home same day. I also told him that I would need fuel shell recall done and sent him pictures of chrome bubble on front wheel.
Today I just got off the the phone with Jenn and she informs me she can see nothing about warr. on my wheel and no work order on fuel shell recall. In fact I probably won't be able to get it done this month as there are 39 people in front of me and Harley only ships a few at a time. I also asked her if they have discovered any other problems during campaign work they have done. She replied " none at all'.

Unfortunatley they already have my seat, speaker and crash guard.
And hopefully my wheel is ordered.

If it makes your life easier, I could pick up the parts and meet you in bellingham or something along that line.I don't want to cross the border because of all the red tape ,but anything I could do to help let me know. I will be leaving Wednesday and will be gone for about a week but glad to help you out if possable.

The only problems that I have discovered with any enhanement products :) is that none of them work -no matter how hard I pump I still remain the same 12 inchsize (unchanged)  ???

Wrong kind of enhancement VAZHOG!  You're suffering from delusional enhancement where everything is doubled.  Also known as double vision.  So take the 12 and divide by 2.   :o

Well I got my bike back tonight.  :)  The enhancement is complete.  Heated Grips are replaced and y pipe is replaced.  Everything seems ok but the only issue is the motor seems HOT.  When I first got on the bike it was extremely hot  I really noticed it- I thought maybe the tech had been checking the exhaust for leaks etc and the bike had been sitting in the shop - no air circulating.  As I rode, it still was hot so I thought maybe the enhancement has caused the motor to be hotter there was also a strong smell coming off the motor.. like burnt oil or grease I figured it was from the work that had been completed on motor.  Well when I got home it is about a 45 minute trip the bike still smelled and the oil temp gauge read 218.  Now I know that is not hot but it is 61 degrees out on the way home and I have never had the bike register over 212 even on hot days after long rides so I will keep an eye on the temp.

I am happy with the work so far.  I did talk with the service manager and told him I was concerned with the 110 motor.  He said he understood and to get the warranty it would cover the bike for 5 years.  I told him I though Moco should give us the 5 year warranty or at least an additional 2 year warranty on the motor.  He just chuckled I think he thought I was kidding.    :-\

My 08 serk just got back today. Had the enhancement done. I had complained that the rear cylinder was smoking at start up. They said they knew why after the tear down. They found oil all over the intake valve area. Didn't talk to the wrench but I guess the head gasket was blown or the valve seal was bad. I am on duty today so I’ll take her out in the am and see it is fixed!   ::)

Got my 07 back yesterday and everything appears to be OK.  Motor runs very well do not notice any big changed to it.  Sounds the same.

When I got home the wife told me that she noticed the left muffler swinging in the breeze. Both hanger bolts were missing. She said they found them in the trailer and fixed it. What I found was one bolt with no lockwasher holding the muffler up! They didn't tell us any different. What is with quality today? Anyway, fixed that and changed the oil. I thought that was standard for motor work too? Bike seems to run much better and does sound different. Must be that its running fully on both cylinders...finally. Well, off to MV on Wednesday. We'll see how things go.

HAD MY 0905 Program fitted last week. Tech said the kit came with the new square base gasket and dowel seals in the kit. I was surprised as I had bought a base kit to be done at my cost . Picking the bike up tomorrow.Any other UK o7 owners had the enhancement done and did your kit include the base kit?
