Only paint not done by Harley are the Screamin Eagles which are done by Calibre in Wisconsin and they use PPG paints.  The painted parts are shipped to York.

You need to fix your CVO#1 description bfb. ;)

Mine is good cept for what ya'll are calling orange peel. the problem is not the paint but the clear coat, way too much on it which is good if you're going to buff. basically the tank and fender. worked on it for a day and it shines clear.

It took 2 years of fighting with HD Reps that flat out lie to you, and 2 new sets of tins before I got a half-way decent set that I could live with. Yea, be happy its just orange peel this time.

The 09 cuse4 has a nasty looking front fender...Then I looked at all the bikes, they all sucked..

Here you go....listen...." They are using powder coat on the fenders"

After I stopped giggling I said they need to find a new powder coater...

I have to say thanks for posting this thread, I picked my bike up last week and this was the first thing I look at
The paint was pretty good over all there is some orange peel, but not much at all... I guess I just got lucky...
