My dealer dropped my bike without telling me. The front fender was dented with fresh metal showing where the paint chipped off. I wouldn't have noticed it till later if it wasn't for my buddy who drove me there to pick it up. The service manager apologized and got me a new one, but I'm sure he wouldn't have said anything unless I brought it up. Before that they dented my tank, didn't catch it, then later wiped out both my antennas and crudely tried to straighten them. Then the issue of some teenager dry washing the bike before you pick it up.

I have purchased four new Harleys from dealers and have had bad experiences with all of them, so the last bike I bought used and have a great independent mechanic to service it when I don't have time to do it myself. There are just too many great bikes out there with low miles to have to go though all that crap again, unless of course Willie comes out with a SERG touring model with a liquid cooled engine next year.
