Here's a picture of mine. I put the amp in the saddlebag. I wish I had the hawg-wired system. I like the license plate racket where the plate is below the turn signals like a street glide. BUT, you have to change everything out. $300 or so I think. .

Backrest on with chrome plate (Thanks AJ!)  at first I didn't really like the chrome plate but as the day went on it really grew on me. 

That backrest looks awesome with the TP removed! It adds just the right amount of chrome to draw attention to the center of the bike and not where the TP "should" have been.

Nice job.

So here is a pic with the detachable sissy bar.  I bought the tall and medium height sissybar - this is the tall - the medium (standard) height is too short. The sissy bar really pulls the bike together.  I like it alot the seat before seemed a little too big.

I do have say though I do not know who writes the instructions for moco but dang they are hard to read.  Thank Goodness they have pictures even though they show parts and locations that aren't in the bag or on the bike  It does make me feel good though to turn wrenchs on my bike.  I probally would have had the dealer do these mods if not for this site.  I am handy guy - a builder and have a HVAC background but never really have turned wrenches except for changing oil and brakes.  I have an appreciation for Howie, 2lane and the others that are hands on with their bikes - it gives me another connection to my scooter.

Well I decided to order the Hawg Wired setup - the 4 speakers upfront with amp.  I called Jim today and it is on its way.  It is not an inexpensive mod (like that is possible ) but from everyones responses it will be worth it.  I do love listen to tunes and crusing.  

I will post some pics once I install the amp and speakers.   Have a week trip planned going down to Hood River in October.

T Mac - bike lloks great without the tour pak.

You may already know this - re-attaching the tour pak is MUCH easier if the bike is level instead of leaning on the jiffy stand.

I ride w/o it most of the time. Only time it's on is 1 - 2 times a year when I take overnight/multi-day trips.

Good idea I have a set of Hogtunes I just bought a month ago - 2 upfront and 2 in the back.  I liked the Hogtunes there were a big improvement over stock but with the tourpak off and all of the info here on Hawg Wired I decided to bite the bullet and just go Hawg Wired.  I do agree the first thing I noticed was a considerable lack of storage - I will have to plan on how much chit I take with me on the ride - the one thing that I will have though is now when we ride (since we have the twins) my folks will follow us in our minivan so I guess our new tourpak is the minivan .  I still haven't taken my wife for a ride yet with the sissy bar she might prefer the  tourpak so I may use it when she rides - I do like having the option.

By the way JW I always like the pictures under your name.  I liked the rasta hat - I wanted to borrow it   The dog (I think that is what it was) was hilarious!

I realized it after I put the tourpak on  a couple of times that it would be easier if the bike was level - just didn't know how to achieve it.    I always start with the left side to take the weight.  It is a little hard to put on and lock in.  I will do a search for jiffy stand.  Thanks for the Tip
