IF Georgia beats Bama (and that is a BIG IF), they will move to #1.  Georgia has a weak offensive line, and Bama keeps fresh down linemen on the Defense...GA's Q'back is going to definitely be "off" his rhythm, and on his ass a few times... ;)

Big game for Alabama...stats say GA should win...but never underestimate Saban's ability to motivate, and Alabama is an extremely well conditioned team.

Terry - Terry - Terry, What makes you think Georgia will be #1 if Oklahoma hangs half a hundred on TCU? ;D

If Georgia gets beat, then it's Oklahoma #1, otherwise, it's Georgia in the driver's seat, unless the Sooners trounce their opponent.

I think it was proven today that the SEC is the toughest conference in the country, week in and week out.  Anybody can beat anybody on any given Saturday...you'd better be ready to play ANY team in the SEC.

The Tide is going to Roll tonight!!   :pepper: :cucumber: :orange: :drink: :drink:

Well, Well...The Tide Rolled BIG TIME! Gotta be a bit concerned still about keeping their focus on the WHOLE game....Can't get to pumped up in believing the TIDE can go all the way; the SEC is one hell of a tough conference....Just ask Florida  ;)

Texas romped all over Arkansas.  Even though I did not get to see it live, from what I saw, it looked like fun.  For the Longhorns.

They beat up on Georgia the first half, but sucked in the 3rd, then did what they had to do to put he game out of reach in the 4th.  I can't see them going all the way...not enough depth this year on the line, but in another year or two, and if we can keep Saban, The Crimson Tide is going to be hard for any team to deal with.  If we just beat Tenn and Auburn the rest of the season, I'll be happy.  Was shocked over Florida and Ole Miss...Houston Nutt is a force to be reckoned with too, so the conference is just going to get stronger.  Croom at Miss St is getting his program together as well.  I'm not sure any SEC team can have an undefeated season playing each other.

Next week we have Baylor (I'm thinking we can handle them), but the week after we have our biggest rival, Texas.  OU - Texas is almost always a hard battle.  We will see how long we can stay on top.

Bama & LSU are going to be teams to watch ;)

Tebow being the giant of a young man took the blame.  What a kid.

I feel really really sorry for Arkansas already.  I predict much pain for them...historically after we lose, we seem to take it out on the next opponent.

I don't know who called the play for Florida, but that shotgun sneak has to be the dumbest play I've ever seen called...the entire offensive line was bunched up so everyone knew what was coming.  The guy is 6'5" tall....just get under center, take two steps forward, and stick the ball out and you've got the first down. :confused5:

IF (and that's a huge IF) Bama can stay healthy, they are a force to be reckoned with this year it seems.  They are playing some smash mouth football right now.  Kicking asses and taking a lot of names. The SEC is so tough, it's going to be hard for any team to come out unbeaten.

Oklahoma deserves the spot they are in.  They appear to be a well rounded team.

Oklahoma still has Texas and Texas Tech - both good teams (and Oklahoma State always rises to the occasion when they play Oklahoma).  Then if all goes right, we will most likely wind up playing Missouri for the Big 12 Championship.

Lots of the season left and lots can happen  ;)

Yea and I didn't even think if BAMA makes it through the regular season undefated ; they still have the SEC Championship game most likely Florida, Georgia, or Auburn and don't forget Vandy is undefeated in the SEC west also. On the other side of the coin, I don't see Oklahoma loseing to anyone (except possibly Texas) unless they just have a bad day. I don't think Mizzu or TTech can hold up to them.

Well, we play Texas Tech at home this year... That's Good!  Texas Tech is a hard place for anyone to go - The Texas Tech crowd really gets into the game and there have been a couple of times that it seemed that the refs gave them a little help too.

Texas is our big rival.  We always play them on "neutral" ground - the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.  That's almost always a tough game - both teams are usually really up of that game.  At Oklahoma you can loose all the other games - just as long as you don't loose to Texas.

Missouri is tough.... probably the toughest in the Big 12 North.  Got to take them seriously
