Isolated Showers My Ass
« on: September 21, 2008, 07:11:20 PM »

Left here yesterday during a beautiful day during a string of beautiful days.  When I left thought "nah, don't need the rain gear from the Electra Glide" as I rolled the Road Glide out of the garage.

Left here mid to late morning today.  Gorgeous day.  This forecast.  Blue as far as you could see.  Didn't bring the rain gear again.  No way it would be necessary.

;D Was one of the first things I did this Spring.  Haven't had to use it yet, so that's probably why. ::)

2 lane,

The rule in Seattle is always bring rain gear.  Chances are if you brought the rain gear it would not have rainied.  Isn't that the way it goes?

2 lane,

The rulle in Seattle is always ring rain gear.  Chances are if you brought the rain gear it would not have rainied.  Isn't that the way it goes?

I believe it IR; really do.  Had the major squishies for awhile this afternoon.  At least yesterday we (will let anonymity protect those who also were caught in yesterday's little gusher--at least they had gear though) had 80 miles home to dry out from the 20 miles of rain.  Today it chased me all the way in to the garage.

Used to never leave without the gear.  Always just lived in the bottom of the left bag.  Two bikes regularly ridden has screwed up my routine.  Either that or I'm just a dumass; one or the other.  Screw it, was still a good ride.

Don,

I know what you mean about multiple bikes.  raingear, night glasses, gloves, etc.  They always seem to be in the other bike!

Indubitably.  Should've stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
