I like it Warren. I have some little HD seat for mine....sundowner....or---sidekick---Not sure...BUT..still end up with the stock seat on it a lot. It's just more comfortable.

I believe the stock HD system is 2 ohm and the stock speakers need to be upgraded to 4 ohm to go with the Hawg-Wired setup. The sidekick seat just did not fit snug to the console and I was not happy with it. The Danny Gray is a perfect fit.

Thanks again mi amigo...I just was checking the Danny Grey seat and I liked this one:

SPEEDCRADLE™ SOLO

Features
Designed for added stability and control in high-speed situations, heavy crosswinds and turbulent environments
Seat pushes you down and forward approximately 2 inches
Pronounced rise at the seat tip helps to lock rider in saddle to mitigate torso torque and loss of control

Jorge,

Just a reminder that the consoles on the CVO Ultras are shorter than on non-CVO Ultras so make sure the seat fitment is correct otherwise you will have a gap between the console and the seat. I believe several members have experienced this problem. As far as the stock HK amp is concerned you should remove it completely along with the overlay harness and run your existing 2 ohm speakers with the stock HK radio (like a non-CVO Ultra Classic), but as Warren stated if you purchase any Hawg Wired amplifier you will need to replace the stock speakers with 4 ohm speakers to match the impedance of the amp.

Ken (CH),
not yet ready for prime time until new seat goes on and 8" dark grey clearview.  But here is another pic of how sad it looked.

Warren, that's not sad........it is actually quite helpful.  Thanks man!

Thanks mi amigo Tom....so in another words. The front speakers will work without amp and when the TP is on the four speakers will work as well, right?

And about the seat according to the pic posted by Buckeye his seat is the BUTTCRACK™ SOLO and he stated that fits perfectly so I assume that the SPEEDCRADLE™ SOLO will do as well.......

Jorge,

Yes, two front speakers will function without the auxiliary amp (under tour pak) and all four will function with the tour pak attached. I would still call Danny Gray to make sure about the fit of the SpeedCradle Solo seat as I do not see a listing in their fitment matrix for Screamin Eagle Ultra Classics only non-Screamin Eagle FLHT models.

Yes mi amigo Tom....I would like to call them up but I couldn't find the Danny Grey official website but the inofrmation in the "fatbook" from Drag Specialties. Another thing was that Buckeye got his "Butcrack" on ebay from American Classic Motors listed for the Street Glide (FLHX). See reply #84

I called them to verify that the seat would fit. The add was for "touring" models and was shown on a flhx. I confirmed with them that the seat could be returned if it did not fit. Some places are funny about seats and returning them.

I just received an answer from JOE MAJOR (American Classic Motors) stating that they have the SPEEDCRADLE for $240 and free shipping. So I just asked him about if fits my bike. The difference between yours (BUTTCRACK I believe) and the SPEEDCRADLE is minimum, both are solo seat type, is only the design................ I can't call them since I am still out of the country. Let's see what he answers. BTW would you have the ref number so I can take the equivalent in the model that I want?

Thanks again mi amigo
