Weamdog, looks great...nice job.  I went the the flhx seat, what did you put on?  I also put the Tune Trapper in but I usually use my xm anyway.  I have be out of town since my conversion and have not even tried the radio.  I boogered up the xm antennae somehow when I was wrestling with the new amp on top of the radio module so I will have to go back in the fairing when I get home next week. ugh!  >:( >:(
This is called the low profile bucket seat (52095-08), it's in the catalog, but not on the corp site.  it doesn't follow the lines of the bike as much, but with the low sissy bar it looks okay.  I haven't even activated my xm, was going to wait for summer to get the most out of my free 6 months or whatever it is.  I'll probably get a zumo eventually and use that as the XM receiver as soon as i can find the perfect way to mount it so that it looks like part of the bike.

Oh, I just remembered, another thing that kinda has me a little mad is Harley had no plastic on the fender where the edges of the stock seat touched the fender and now I have lots of scratch marks.  If i can't get them out I'll have to tell them i want a new fender.  They are really visible with the new seat so i would suggest if anyone is thinking about doing this conversion they may want to check protect this area before it gets too bad.

There are many more pictures of the bike in it's converted state in my virtual garage.

I installed the Tune Trapper, works pretty good when in the city (DFW).  I split the antenna so when I put the tour pak back on I'm using the other antenna, does work better...

Dave, nice job :2vrolijk_21:  I REALLY like the clean look of the licence plate setup.
I assume you did some drilling?  It looks a ton better than the kit set up.  Is it Kuryakyn?  Where are the monster ovals your wife bought you???? :-*

No drilling required. The holes are already there from the reflector. I just needed to ad a small LED for the license plate light. The monster Ovals arrived and left the same day. I had already ordered the CFR's and after hearing and seeing the Monster ovals on someone elses bike they were not what I wanted and I already had the others coming.
Now I just need to figure out which header to use. I am leaning toward V&H new power dual. Then the super sert and my zippers max flow air cleaner.

Where did you get your CFR's? I have that pipe on my V-ROD and I love it. Any problems with fitment? Great job with the bike. I had the radiused plate frame on my '05 SEEG. Adds a clean look - it's on my X-mas list.

Dave, I am also going to go with the V&H's.  I have been waiting for reports on the new 09 fitment, etc.  Then the SERT and a decent hi flo.  Let us know when you get
new headers on.

With the detach kit installed, does it move the pack back any to provide more room for the passanger?

It's a Danny Gray seat. I also plan on buying a solo like Buckeye did.
