I am a trim fabricator and found a way to perfectly reshape the emblem to fit the lower rear fender. what do you think. I may offer this as a product.

Someone here rolled a couple of them gently over a rolling pin when they were first released to use on a rear fender.  It looked good then too.

This certainly looks a lot better on the rear fender than some other places I've seen it; however, it looks out of place to me.  The SERG is pretty darn near perfection by itself.  From a design perspective, the bikes are perfectly balanced from front to back, top to bottom.  Everything has its place.  You need to be very careful when doing anything that could take away from the design.  The logo will naturally draw the eye of the viewer toward the fender and license plate.  Not a good place to get their attention.

FWIW, if you want to create something useful, look at the tank HD logo.  It is elegant, but fragile.  The point at the beginning of it easily snags and can bend.  License plate trim is another area that could use some work.  Engraving a SE eagle with the HD name in a font that is similar to what's on the tank could be sold to many CVO owners.

So beating the chit out of it with a rolling pin would be a bad idea :nixweiss: ?

I've certainly thought about it a couple of times.  :soapbox:

Kuryakyn makes a very cool rounded / curved plate trim for the Street Glide.  They may come out with one for the SERG or it could be adapted.  Anyone seen anything that could work?

I bought the medallion a while ago (actually about two years). And since then I have not found a place to stick on any of my CVO's. It's still not used, and I am now sure that I probably will not use it on a bike, but your application is so far the best choice I've seen.

Ride safely,

These plate holders are cool.  Has anyone tried to fit them on the SERG? Looks like it might actually fit.

Looked at it today.  If it's the same, it's for the Street Glide.  If you could bend it, it would work.  Probably should wait a bit and they'll make one model specific.
