Baker makes a 7 speed for your trans case which would be real cool

The Baker DD7, Direct Drive 7-Speed is developed as a direct replacement of the Cruise Drive Harley-Davidson factory 6-speed to improve it in many ways besides just adding another gear

HeHe! I shift enough now already and like the current gearing for my riding style. Prolly not looking to replace the tranny. Yet anyway! ;)

The S&S has a larger shell so it's not compatable with anything else, the PRO clutch might work as you would use your stock basket they are good till about 150hp which should be ok utill you put on the nitrous and turbo

That's why I'm looking at the Pro Clutch option. Just a little nervous about the VPC weights, and looking into accomplishing the clamping I need with a better clutch instead. But the VPC has done what it's there to do and have had no slipping since it's been on. Just thought I'd think about an upgrade while everything's apart. :2vrolijk_21:

Is that the Barnett Scorpion? One of the ones I looked at, but have the Pro Clutch in my '85 WG and my 89" Pro Street. Have been happy with the Rivera clutch. But my 80" and 89" Evos don't put out what my bigger 110 does. So I'm exploring any replacement options now while everything's apart. Let us know what you think of your new "lock-up" clutch. Thanks! :2vrolijk_21:

This thing ain't been able to stay together on gasoline! No NOS, Supercharger, Turbocharger or anything else is going on it! I'll be very happy with this motor holding together on gas for 50,000 miles first!!! :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss: ;D ;)

I didn't know Jesel made valve train components for V Twins.   :nixweiss:

IMHO - you are correct in stating Jesel makes the strongest valve train components of any supplier - at least in the high performance automotive world.   :2vrolijk_21:

Looks very interesting. I don't think Vern knew Jesel was doing V-Twin mods either. I'll have to bounce that stuff off of him. I'm impressed with what I just saw on their website though! Thanks again CB! :2vrolijk_21:

Howie Heres something else you might think of, not sure if you saw this yet but these new batteries are 5 pounds compared to 50 smaller size can be mounted upside down if you like and last for about 10 years. A little pricy but if you consider how many regular batteries you would go through during the same time frame it's not that much more.
