F/A, I would have your dealer order the part for you.  It made a big positive difference on mine....it's covered under the warranty.  Also your dealer might be able to tell if yours already has it (whick I doubt) by the vin #.

The dealer called today and said the part was in I need to make an appt and they will install it All on Harley, amazing. Thanks to my good buddies here I was able to find a solution to the proble. It was not until I showed them a post from this website saying the MOCO was paying for someone that they volnunteered covering the cost

These things do lean over awful far.  Parking with the stand side downhill would make it really hard to come off the stand.

I informed my dealer of the new kickstand bracket and they were unaware of it. I gave the part #50096-09 and they can't find any part associated with it. Do I have the correct part #?

Thats the right part number. Look at a post by Silver-Black earlier in the thread He has posted a picture of the part with the part number on the bag. My bike is in the shop today having the part installed

My legs are long enough it's just that the dam gas cap and everything else keeps falling off. Going to check it out w/ the dealer today.

Thanks a million. I called my dealer today and told him I could email a picture of the part to him if it would help. He informed me Harley just got back to him and approved the part to be replaced under warranty.

Now for the bad news...the new tour pak, that I've been waiting for 2 months for, came to the dealer damaged lol. It sure would be nice if something would just go smoothly when it comes to the moco. The service writer said it looked like it was painted early on Monday or late on Friday. Oh well, what are you going to do. :o

Picked up my bike today. Dealer insalled the part, no charge. It mades a big difference in how far the bike leans over on the stand. I don't have to jerk it up off the stand now. The dealer said it was only the first bikes off the line that had the problem the later bikes will already have the part installed. Thanks to all here at CVO for all your help and info on this
