Same here Brian, I love fresh water lakes that are no to big in size. I use to have a 95 Sweet 16 Donzi Classic with a 4.3 in it. For a stock motor it would run 62mph trimmed out on white caps.Use to love to take it on Lake Tarpon (6 miles in length & a mile wide), on the most windiest days and jump waves fun.

Sebago Lake is fairly large. It is 12 miles long and 7 miles wide. It covers 45 square miles and has 105 miles of shoreline. It has a mean depth of 101 feet with the deepest section being 316 feet. Total volume of water estimated to be contained within the boundaries of Sebago is one trillion gallons. It is the public water supply for most of southern Maine. It is connected to Brandy Pond and Long Lake via the Songo River and the Songo River Locks. It's about a 50 mile trip from the lower end of Sebago to the far end of Long Lake. Makes for a fun day. Sebago can go from flat calm to 3 ft whitecaps in the blink of an eye. My "new" boat is a very deep high sided hull, perfect for use on Sebago or if I want to go striper fishing in Casco Bay, for that as well.
Always wanted a Donzi and the one you describe is one of my dreamboats. I believe Roger Jobs still owns one. Have always been a huge Donzi fan and Mark (MJZ) says his new 38 footer is a gem (even if AMF currently does own Donzi) Hogasm has or had a Donzi as well I believe. Maybe someday I'll find a sweet deal on a used one. Sure can't afford a new one. Anyway, I am hoping to have some of the New England CVO folks up for a weekend next summer so I've got to get all the toys in good working order.
