Christmas Dreams - Christmas purchases planned for your CVO?
« on: October 16, 2008, 11:32:26 AM »

Are you planning on any upgrades/purchases for your CVO?

Any year, any model CVO?

Purchase does not have to be major - any upgrades or add ons.

If you do not have a CVO or you have another HD (like my beloved 02 RK) list stuff for that here too if you wish.

If you don't have anything in mind to actually buy, what are you thinking about or considering buying?

Currently I am considering high compression pistons, cams, & lifters for my 07 SEULTRA.  And a new seat.

The RK needs new passenger boards, too.

No dollar limits.  Anything from $.01 to a brazillion dollars.

Should also include new bike purchases for Christmas also.

Also anything purchased between now & Christmas.  No rules - just stuff we are thinking about buying or actually buying.

Except for those who of  us who use Hogbreath Financial Services for financial advice, which I highly recommend.  As a result of this most appreciated advice, no purchases on my bikes have exceeded $750, using HB's "new math".   :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

So far I'm in about for around $1300 - new Corbin seat, Hawg Wired (thanks HD Dude), TuneTrapper, HD detach rack/hardware, and I'm replacing the filler strips with the FLHX  rear end piece.  I probably won't get to it until Jan. but if I don't buy the parts now my better half will spend all my $ on our new grandchild!

Apparently every day is Christmas for my SERG!!! Ordering the Hawg Wired today!!!  Looking for a new seat, JenniferD wants something w/o stitching on the her seat, it's uncomfortable.

It's a good thing I put most of the "extras" on my 07 SEUC before the economy tanked. The only thing I might buy is the short antennas. I must admit, our economy has me more conservative right now. The last thing on my mind would be a new bike.

SERK: Maybe Traxxion fork cartridges, maybe a Vanill-Zilla fairing if I wire in some turn signals (have no desire to move the existing ones), neon signs for the Man Cave to add ambiance during the five or six months of winter it will be sitting in there.

Fat Boy: A sold sign.  After that maybe go shopping for a 60s to 70s Norton, Triumph or BSA.

We both need to do Traxxion Dynamics front suspension upgrades to the SERGs.  Or did you already get it done?

The SEEG needs nothing for Christmas.  It's hasn't gotten anything other than maintenance for awhile and has nothing on the horizon.

The SERG just got things ordered.  A pair of new saddlebag lids.  Over the winter it'll get its tensioners removed and gear drive cams installed also.
