Yours showed up in a box!  Mine showed up in a baggie, and I had to fight for it, 'cause the dealership wasn't going to give it to me at all!   What's the box look like?  was it cool?

 I'm sorry CoolBreeze, now that I thinking  [smiley=thinking.gif] about it, my gold key was with two Black keys & two sets of alarm fobs.  
 What came in the Little Black Box with a Black Cardboard Cover was my Skull Key [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] that I paid $60 bucks extra for.  My CVO key is now wedged into the Skull Key Box.  We weren't treated too differently, you even got a new plastic bag  [smiley=bigok.gif]!!

Technically; I got a key inside a piece of folded up paper inside a piece of folded up styro-wrap inside a baggie w/ some numbers on it. Pretty frickin deluxe don't ya think? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Same here.  And the best part is that they call it a "Gold Key" , but in fact it is only brass plated.

I have been a member since 1984 and a lifer since 1990. I think the dealer should have to give us some kind of rebate. May be a great discount on extras at the time of the sale.
Just another wish I guess.

I found my gold key in a little white bubble paper in the saddle bag.
Thought it was some trash at first.

I recieved my B-Berry in March of 2004.
While attending the Laughlin Nv. get together in April 2004, I spoke with the senior HD rep @ the HD trailer/exibit & explained to him how I felt this is the best bike I've ever owned or ridden.
The one draw back in my opinion is not recieving the faux leather box for the CVO key. The same box that is pictured with the key in the catalog, the same box sent with any key recieved in a "gold key" kit.
I told him how My dealership had attempted to get a key box for me and about my lengthy discussions with the HD customer service people, both to no avail. Everyone I had spoken with was very sorry but the only way I could get a box was to purchase a new key through the catalog.
In the end I explained to him that after spending over Thirty one thousand dollars for a bike, I felt Harley in the least should offer a way for me to obtain a $7.00 - $15.00 key box. I also told him the three keys that came with the bike work quite well and I had no desire to purchase another $90.00 key just for a box.
To my surprise I recieved an E-mail from the rep a couple of weeks later and after numerous E-mails and aprox.6-7 months I recieved a box in the mail. GRATIS.

Now I just wish I could remember what I did with the DAMNED KEY!

Hmmm! If you can't find your key I know where mines is, and would very much like to have a key box. Let's say somewhere in the $7 - $15 range?  [smiley=7.gif]
