Dang, if that happened, I would be using some more and probably more vulgar!  Glad to see you can recover, sorry about your bike.  Try to pull the gas tank off before the insurance takes it.  Good collector's item for you to keep.

Sorry to read of your accident...your pictures of your bike look bad, but not nearly as bad as the pictures of you...  It looks like you have a long road of recovery ahead of you.  I am thankful it was not worse...  Good luck and god bless....

You may need buck horn handle bars on your next ride, ie reduced reach for that ugly elbow!  You are indeed lucky it was not worse.

Glad you around to tell the tale...
They don't see and they don't care, this I know.

I had the same kind of wreck in '85, luckily the rear post of the car kept me from getting launched into heavy traffic but the sudden stop after I blew the rear window out of the car with my back broke my scapula, some ribs(that really hurt) and damaged some innerds.   

Get well soon and don't forget your meds!

Wow...that sucks.  Every time I read this type of post it reminds me to always keep my eye out for idiots.  Guess there is nothing that you could have done in this case.

Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes, I cant tell you how much it means to me to read these replies!!!!!

I'm up walking around and feeling good. The elbow is still a problem but doing therapy and going to the big city to see a specialist soon with hopes they can do more for me with it.

Drivers insurance paid me for what I had in the bike so no money lost there. Will start back to work the first of the year!!

Again thanks everyone and hope ALL have A SAFE and MERRY Christmas!!!!!
