Damn, sorry to hear about this and see the results. Hope you heal quickly and get back out as soon as you mend completely. You can always get another SERK, but surviving it and healing up is the priority. Hope you're home for the holidays.

What did that cager have in the windows? Looks like newspaper or maps, or maybe those were added after the collision?  :nixweiss:

Anyway, get better soon man!!

Sorry to hear about your accident and glad you did not get hurt any worse than you did.  Sounds much like my accident last Aug only worse.  I was only doing 35 mph and managed to get on the brakes some before hitting the right rear quarter panel.  16K to fix the SERK but the insurance company covered all.  She didn't have insurance; how about yours?

Thanks and yes thank goodness he had insurance, problem is however his limits were not high enough and I will exceed it and have to go to mine for underinsured motorest. People really should check the limits your carry on your insurance. It cost so little to carry the higher limits.

  Been where you are.Elbow was so screwed up I lost feeling in my hand from the nerve being healed in.Thanks
  to a really good surgeon & a lot of therapy I'm back on the bike.

  Sorry to hear about the accident, but as everyone else has said at least you are for the most part okay. Hope you are able to get the elbow back to normal operation and get back on the road soon.

I'm a newbie here as of yesterday. Sorry to hear about your crash. I suffered some similar injuries in a crash in 1996, though mine was my fault -- too fast in a corner. Recovery sucks, but it beats the alternative. You bike can be repaired or replaced. You will heal. In the meantime, focus on getting better, enjoy life (Hey, you're still alive, right?), and eagerly anticipate the day you are back on two wheels.

Sorry to hear about the wreck :( :( the scooter can be replaced!!!!!!! Hopefully you can have a speedy recovery and get back in the saddle again soon.  :) ::)

Thanks all, I am healing and getting around pretty good now. Only problem is the elbow and still have some pain in the back but that will get better. The elbow will have some perminate loss of motion but I thank God it was not worse and could have easily been much worse. Thanks to all for the prayers and good  wishes, I hope all have a very Happy and Safe New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!
