Of course, you could take this project to another level by completing the paint on the breather to match the tank.  The dividing accent color swoosh and then the darker red below.  Just something for you to ponder during the winter.   ;)


Actually gave that a fair bit of consideration before peeling the adhesive's backing off the center trim ring.  After a few minutes decided I did like what was there though.  Doing more would take soemthing that was simple and relatively inexpensive and turn it in to something more complicated and involving outside vendors for the painting.  Chose to stick with simple.

Looks good twolane...i did my O/W/B with a black aircleaner and also changed the horn cover over to black when the bike was new. When the bike was delivered new it had a little ding in the screamin eagle air cleaner insert...so the dealer ordered a new one and I put it on the the Black A/C cover...small touch, but I have always liked that it was a little different
