Welcome meanbean...

My dads side of the family is from the eastern shore of VA...Cashville, VA (pop 120ish), even more the cultural mecca then my current digs here in Jacksonville.

Sean

I am meanbean, I found this place while wandering around reading about CVO's.

My first bike had a 5 hp Briggs and Stratton engine and a mallet head bolted to a piece of angle iron for a brake. I called it Big Red, I was around 10 years old at the time. To this day; that mini bike ranks right up there with my all time favorite rides. Since then I've ridden CB's,  KZ's, a Seca (another all time favorite), Shadow, Virago and a Soft Tail. In 2004 when the black and blue SE Electra Glide came out I drooled over it. My riding buddies were bustin my balls about getting an "old man bike". They would say stuff like "are you going to use your social security checks to buy a bagger???" and "I'll bet you could fit allot of Depends in those bags". I already had a good bike so I didn't buy the CVO Bagger.
Two weeks ago I was at our local dealer waiting for my buddies to show up for the Fall Poker Run. I went to the service dept. to get a cup of coffee and there it was in all its black and blue beauty.  I didn’t have to think for a second. I found the sales guy who sold me my last bike and asked him to hang a sold sign on it.  We haggled a bit and worked out a good deal on a trade for my Soft Tail.
I’ve been riding it for a couple weeks now and this bike is GREAT, it’s smooth, powerful and the nicest bike I’ve ever owned.

Well that was pretty long winded. Here is a pic of my new bike "The Bruise"  along with its "security system"

Meanbean, welcome from western NY.  Looks like your security patrol is a Steelers fan.  I won't argue the point with him.  Welcome to a great forum from western NY!  :cherry:
