My "Stealth" 3rd Brake Light
« on: November 16, 2008, 10:05:05 AM »

I added a tour pak to my Road Glide and realized that I needed a little more lighting to make sure I am seen when stopping.  So I added a "stealth" 3rd brake light.

First here is my scooter with the brake OFF....

And here it is with the brake light ON....

And now at night...

Here is what I used.  On E-Bay I did a search on S10 or Jimmy 3rd brake light.  For $37.50, here is the one that I used.

It took about an hour to install it and I think it was a GREAT enhancement to the safety of my bike.

Do a search on E-Bay for Jimmy Third Brake Light...

Try this.... http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38.l1313&_nkw=jimmy+third+brake&_sacat=See-All-Categories[/b][/size]

Yes they are!

I have them on both of my bikes and I love them!

I installed also into my Ultra "Blinking Smart Stop with delay" from Kahtec.com: " Once you have applied your brakes for the first time causing your third brake light to flash and then turn solid, touching your brakes again within 8 seconds will cause your third brake light to turn on normally without flashing."
I know this isn´t approved in Finland  :(but I think it´s safer 8)

Beautiful addition buffy! You're one of my mod-on heroes! Functional yet doesn't mess with the design of the bike. A real winner! Enjoy the ride.
