Well.........I'm not a Marine..........therefore I think like a man..........not a dog.  Besides, I have all the hot wife I can handle right here under my roof.

see, I always figure I could handle more...(but don't EVER tell my wife that, please)

Has anyone used a DVD from Fix My Hog for the 110 motor? If so was it worth it?

I bought the Softail DVD. For me it was too basic, I didn't learn anything from it, but I'm an aircraft mechanic so fixing things until they no longer function comes naturally to me.
The DVD's are OK for a novice who wants to do his own basic maintenance but money well spent would be on the HD service and parts manuals.

Bingo!  Spot On, MB!
Watch those aircraft maintenance tasks..............they're brutal when it comes to getting them fixed.  I'd still like to know why my IFF won't work in the "OFF" position.  Perhaps if I can find the boxes of voltage drops and flight line I was sent after almost 30 years ago, I could figure out the first one.   :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

I have the Softtail version and Touring.  I thought it was worth the money.  Maybe to let you know what you are in for before venturing out.  THey let you know exactly what tools are needed and as far as buying the Service Manaual, the gut tells you over and over to reference the factory manauals for torques specs tightening sequemce etc.

For what we spend on chrome, etc, I think the $40 DVD is worth it for the average person.

Thanks guys
Since I am a novice and for what I paid for the bike i guess 40 buck is not much so I guess i will get it. I already have the manual so between the two and all the guys on this site I can't go wrong, I hope.

chit.....I can't even sit through the "Ride-Like-A-Pro" videos without falling asleep.  Doubtful I could stay awake watching these.  Not that the material isn't good.  I just can't sit still without falling asleep.

You must never sit in the saddle or your a great rider while sleeping?
