Closest thing to a Delorean in 1936.  only 6 ever produced and of those only 4 exist now.
This is the only one still running. Now that is rare.

I had a 36, not a ford though. It had a flat head, 6 cyl if I remember, might have been eight. The thing was pretty cool. It was all original, even the rust. It had not been cranked in who knows how long. So I cleaned all the Florida Rat crap out of it,there was quite a bit. It was a 6 volt system, seemed like it was positive ground also. I had to trace the wiring out which was not that hard because there was not much wire in it. For two days while I was figuring out how to get the beast started I had more old fellas stopping and watching, and coming back. I got it cranked and it ran pretty good considering. The carb needed to be rebuilt because it was leaking out of the bowl but it ran and even drove. No brakes though. When all the old fellas would come back they would ask if I got it running and I would have to drag out the cord, the charger and crank it for them. I really liked the horn on it. It had two trumpets and sounded like a old ship when it blew, and it blew a lot because it was my play thing. It had the suicide doors also. Anyway that Ford is sharp, never knew they made a SS one.

Saw the subject line and was sure that this was written for me.
Wasn't, but none the less, the pictures of those SS cars are just too cool.  Thanks for sharing.
