Jorge, thanks for posting the pictures, enjoyed seeing them. I'm heading down to Costa Rica next month and was just checking out the rental rates at the dealer in San Jose. I was surprised to see they charge more for a Buel than a Harley. :o

Mark ..... I ride frequently in Costa Rica and have rented from Lifestyle HD several times.  The reason for the Buell being more expensive is that a lot of US surfers rent them to ride to the West Coast and play on the beach with them. As you might guess many come back in serious condition if not on the back of a flatbed.  Unless you make a reservation well in advance about the only thing you will find in the rental department is Sportsters.  With some advance notice there are a couple of Road Kings on the program.  There are also a couple of independents that have some nice bikes, but next month will be a tough time to rent one as all of the major marlin tournaments are cranking up.

When  are you heading down?  I'll be there the 2nd and 3rd weeks of January and possibly a 3 day turnaround in mid December.  If  the schedules happen to work out I'm buying grilled lobster, cerviche and numerous adult beverages at a little private club a friend owns.

That would be great, let me know if you find out your going to be there the week between Christmas and New Years. Have no idea what Kathy and the TA have planned but I do know we are heading down 12/24 and returning either on the 12/31 or 1/1. She figured it would be the last family Christmas vacation we would be able to take with our kids since my son will graduate next year and my daughter will be following him to U of A next year. She gave me choices of New York, New Zealand or Costa Rico, which I've never been to and everyone I know that has gone told me they loved it. Plus Viking has their new 72 there and we got an open invite to fish it if the seas and Kathy's schedule can work out. (they don't know after selling the 52, I went back to a center console where I will stay forever. No more battle wagons for me in this life.)
