I just got the bike a little over 2 weeks ago. I haven't done anything yet except a few pieces of chrome trim and floorboard extensions. I'm waiting for my Fullsac's to get here and waiting for a core bit to get here to remove the cat. Also waiting to receive Zipper's Maxflo air cleaner. I think I'll have the dealer do the SERT...I want to make sure my bike actually still runs when the SERT is done. I think getting that done correctly pulls everything else together and isn't worth spending all that money on it if you aren't going to have it done properly. With that said, I question myself on whether the dealer is the best place to go, but at least they are experienced using the program.
The same dealer did my last bike with the Power Commander. I took it an independent tuner for a dyno and he really bashed the dealer about how they surely screwed up the setup on my bike. After he put it on the dyno, he told me that he could make one slight adjustment that may or may not be noticeable at all, and told me that this was one of the best tuned bikes he had seen from a dealer setup. Based on that, I at least have some confidence that someone in there knows what they are doing. The service manager is rude and cocky and has the personality of a stock muffler, but they are the only dealer that hasn't screwed anything up on a bike for me yet. So that's it. I haven't done much at all yet and other than a change in the rear lights and maybe a windshield bag, I don't have anything else planned quite yet. I will need to wait until this spring to see how this 110 really runs and decide from there if there is more needed.
