I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving...

If you ride this weekend, be alert as most of the people will be preoccupied with thoughts of getting some great shopping deals.  So drive even more defensively than normal.

It's going to be in the 50's tomorrow and my bike is in the shop.  It's ready to be picked up, but I can't do that until Friday.  Friday and the weekend here are going to be on the colder side, but maybe a ride or two will happen.

Again, have a great holiday weekend and enjoy your family's.

And also to a few of us that have lost loved ones this past year, or even not to long ago, keep a special place in your heart and home for them and remember them with loved ones.  Celebrate their life and be thankful for what they have given us throughout their lives.

Enjoy and be safe...

 :)  :)  :)

Gracias, Jorge and Happy Thanksgiving to you, Martha and all the wonderful friends here on CVO Harley.  We all have lots to be thankful for in these trying times that we're all able ride and share with each other here.  Special thanks to Neal for all the hard work and to the Armed Forces people for keeping us free to enjoy it.

Ride Safe,

Thanks Jorge and I wish all of you (YOUZ in Howie speak) a great turkey day. I keep thinking about all those fine turkey sandwiches I'll feast on Friday and Saturday. :2vrolijk_21:

Happy Thanksgibing! What are you thankful for today?
« Reply #39 on: November 27, 2008, 06:04:00 AM »

Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I have always liked to have my family remember, espically today, what they are thankful for.

As an American, I am thankful for all the folks in the armed forces, and their families, for the sacrifices they endure to insure I live free without intrusion or exclusion.

As a parent I, am thankful my family is healthy and close enough to hug when I want to.

As a human being I am thankful to the universe for allowing me to wake each morning to dream, hope and live for another day.

This year I can say I am thankful for the new folks I have met and interacted with on this website.  You have all made me feel very welcome and have made me laugh more than once.  (Not all that easy of a task)

More specifically I would like to thank Twincam (Randy):

For reminding me how very much I love to be on the back of a bike.
For making me realize I can still truly fall in love.
For letting me know I am a beautiful and vibrant woman with a lot to offer.
For showing me that anything is only as strong as it's weakest link.
For making me understand that I am my best friend and the one I can always depend on.
For loving me, making me smile and making me feel special.
I LOVE YOU!

I hope everyone can take a minute today to think about what they really are thankful for and keep those thoughts with them throughout the year.

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Today will be my first TG in many years that my wife won't be here so I will likely cook way too much food. My Fat Dawg is already licking her lips. My wife is in Washington state with her children. I could have gone but I don't fly anymore. Why fly when you can ride, it's more fun anyway.  See Y'all!

It's after 1. I've watched 1 parade (great) and 1 football game (lousy) Made about 20 mindless posts here to kill time. I'm getting HUNGRY, LET'S EAT !!!!!

I have no idea how Beagle and his family manage to wait til 6PM to eat. I'd be eating the chairs by 4

Many happy thanksgiving wishes to my friends and family on this cvo website.  Thanks for all your sharing of your lives, rides, and cheers.  Jamey and I have the great fortune this year of having my father, my brother visit us.  We had the big turkey dinner for lunch (1:00 ish)  Now it is time for mince meat pie with icecream before starting on the turkey buns...  Love you all.
