4 pictures to follow 3 of the tapered baffle and a comparison to the probaffle on the pumpkin before I remove it.

Tapered Baffle as you can see it now matches the falsie and looks very good on the bike

Comparison look at the Pro Baffle before I install the tapered on the 04 pumpkin.

I will staying with the tapered baffle I like the sound I like the power down low that I am getting and I can hear the radio.   The falsie now also matches the tapered baffle so the look is consistent  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Boy you can really see the difference, The performance was just a straight thru shot.  Did you by chance take a pic showing a straight on shot from behind? To show what the person following you down the road sees?

I can't wait for mine to get here  [smiley=banana.gif]

HDJams,

Its a bit late tonight, but when I get back home this weekend I will take a picture of one of the bikes from behind, but it looks exactly like the falsie even the nut on the baffle is in the same place.

Well i had my base line Dyno done today to get numbers before i make any changes to
my 05 SEEG. I was a little disappointed in the numbers:

I only came up with (88.9 torque @ 5800 rpm) and (81.4 hp @ 3900 rpm).

I will be putting on my D&D 2-1 Exhaust and SE Air Cleaner and SE Race Tuner
this Friday.  Hopefully that will wake this puppy up.......

My stock numbers before and mod's 79.48HP and 84.90TQ. After adding D&D Fat Cat 2:1, SE Air Cleaner and Power Commander PRIOR TO ANY TUNING 82.93HP 85.75TQ and AFTER DYNO TUNING 93.21HP and 91.38TQ. I did a dyno run on another dyno and had 96HP and 98TQ.

Jams,

Those I wouldnt be upset that is about right for no mods from the factory.   I am quite sure with a tuner they will come up nicely.

Did you post the dyno sheet ?

Those numbers appear to be low.  I'm not sure why that would be......there are a number of variables but if you've run it on two different dynos and still not over 100 on either, I'd try a different tuner.  That combination of mods is capable of more.  Look at the dyno thread.  My bike.....Screamin Eagle air cleaner, HD Race Tuner and Vance & Hines Pro Pipe (not a whole lot different from the D&D Fat Cat) turns 100 HP and 104 ft. lbs. of torque.  Others running different exhausts and yet others running Power Commander III are turning simular numbers.  Take a look at Erniezap's dyno sheet (near the end of the thread).

JCZ I have to disagree that his numbers are low they are pretty much the same as mine were with no mods done to the bike.   Mine ended up at 94 hp and 98 torque with pipes / SE Airfilter and Race Tuner on both bikes.

If the numbers after the mods are much below that I would concede its the tuner or the dyno.

OK I give up.  Called D & D a number of times.  Each time the tech guy was out.  I complained that I needed a correct answer as to which baffle should be in my pipe for my application.  Again they took my phone number but the tech guy never got back to me.  Once they connected me to some guy that did not have a clue and said the order desk should know which baffle was correct.  When I told him they did not, he asked what baffle I have ( performance ) and he said Oh, thats the one you are supposed to have.  So I never did get a concrete answer as to which one is correct.  Crappy customer service for sure.

Let me help here if you have a stock bike and its not a race bike you want the tapered baffle much like the picture I have above from the Orange SEEG.   You can tell if its the tapered baffle by where the set screw is.   If you have the pro baffle I was told you best have a 124 type of motor and after trying to tune that baffle I can tell you that if you have questions ask to talk to the R&D guy and dont take no for an answer you have to kind of be forceful lets say about it.

If your baffle matches the pictures I have above on the orange bike your Good to go.

you can call 817-834-8961

I deny posting this number :)
