I had some extra time this weekend so I did our tree ,too.

My wife got so mad she went to her sister's.  So I guess I'll just have to stay home and watch the Giant game with my dog and a cold beer.

Put up my tree. Had to put up a small one as something is taking up space where I use to have the full sized tree,

I'm on my way out of town for this entire week, get back in time to help Jamey get a surgery on his back and he will be laid up for the next 6 weeks and I did not even think about getting ornaments and tree down...
SO that pre-lit tree and a wreath on the door may be all we do this year too.
We will have to keep making trips to the garage to look at the bikes so we know what we are doing and why, but they still make us feel all warm inside, even after a few years and lots of bugs and dirt on em.

I even won the women's mileage contest again this year, not sure how since I hardly had a chance to go anywhere (or at least that is what it seemed like for me) so our bikes are not still new and glossy, but they still make us feel as good as the day we got em.

Bought 1200 lights yesterday so that I didn't have to screw with trying to get the old ones to work. Crap! only about 1/5th of 'em worked... and yes I plugged them in. Did I ever mention that I hate christmas!  Getting all the chit out of the attic with my sore knee's and hitting my bald head on the rafters not to mention all the frigg'n insulation making me itch for days. Then put it all up and then taking it all down and back to the attic. Did I mention I hate Christmas! Maybe I did. I'm not going to mention that we have a very expensive fake tree that looks great! BUT no we had to drive up in the wood over 5,000 feet to get a frigg'n fresh Noble. (And to top it off, I miss a great football game.) Now the truck is all scratched up and I'll spend a week getting that cleaned up. By the way, did I mention I hate christmas!

Thats why Festivus is better.  All you need is a pole and you what they attract?!   :)

We put up a new fake one last night and half the bulbs didn't work. A couple of years ago the tree stand fell out of the rafters and put a big ding on my front fender, after that no more fresh trees. More reasons to hate x-mas.  ;D  Doc
