The shop I had the work in thought I would have to... but after talking to Jim (HD Dude), he confirmed that if the just reroute the stock lines, they would work... and they did!!  I like the position they put me in... now I just gotta get a seat & backrest and I think I'll be good!

I know it would be hard to do, but I'd like to see you on the bike, both hands on the bars and feet on the boards.
I like those bars!!!
Do you feel like your hands are too far apart??

I'll see what I can do. The bars feel great... I did 500+ miles yesterday, mostly on mountain roads (doing the local HOG chapter's 5 10,000'+ passes in 1 day ride). Left the house @ 0600, and got home @ 10pm... no wrist pain, sore back, arm fatigue... with the stock bars my wrists got sore from the angle of the bars. While I really want a nice solo seat, upgrading the bars made a huge difference to this being an all-day bike.

Crusty.... a big wow on the pics. Very well done.

Thanks! I really enjoy trying to get good shots and learning to get better.

that's actual my favourite one: taken during drive-training with my chapter-mates.
Still with some place at the rear of the saddle-bag, but only some hair left at foot.

Just take your picture and open it up in most any of the more powerful photo software and spike up the saturation a bit and the colors will pop just like this.

Dan's right, that does work... mine are a bit different though. Pictures are taken with a Nikon D80, in bracket mode, which takes a series of 3 shots at different exposures, to capture the scene at a variety of light levels. Then I use software (Photomatix) to combine the 3 shots into one HDR photo. I am still learning to use it, and yes, some of them come out pretty saturated... which can look cool, but even I'll admit they are sometimes overdone. I try and get better each time, and play with the software to try and find the right balance of color and natural look. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Hard to take a bad shot of such a purdy bike!!

for Crusty

I wish... unfortunately, that would be my "I'm a first time Harley rider who isn't smart enough to know the difference between my hot pipes and my floorboard" spot.

I put my boot on it once... and then also burned a hole in one of my textile riding pants (luckily it was an old pair!) I did use some laquer thinner and steel wool to get most of the spot off, but that is the really this spot that is gonna take some serious elbow grease to get off, and I haven't taken the time to do it.  :nervous:

It took my about 2h to get the rain-trousers from the pipes of my wife's VROD.
It was a spot of casino-chip, but about 3mm thick. She's has to return a
special favour  :pepper: :2vrolijk_21: ;D

Out and about today in Renton, WA.  Stopped by Downtown HD and saw this awesome Scream'n Yellow Eagle.  The owner Freddie said Northwest HD in Lacey did the engine work putting out 124 HP and 131 foot/pounds.

Gotta look into one of those silver Corbins for wldthg.  Freddie said it moved him down and back from the stock.
