Howdy from Middle Georgia

My O/B ships on 17 Dec and should arrive by Christmas!  I hope ;D  This sickness started when a friend sent me an email from Germany with a pic of an 09 SERG Autumn Haze/Orange that he'd ordered through AAFES.  I wanted to see a better pic so I went to the Harley website and clicked on CVO and I found myself in a tunnel, walking towards a bright light...when I arrived at the end, there, bathed in sunlight was a Orange and Black SERG!  The rest is history....  Has something like this happened to anyone else?

welcome to the site! Someone started a post asking how did you get your cvo or something to that effect, some great stories! I have the silver/titanium on order due here in southern MD in feb,enjoy your ride and as I was told, there are alot of folks here that will help you spend your money on parts for your ride! Trust me this is true!  ;D

Thanks, glad to be here! I've been viewing as a guest for quite a while and this is the most informative forum I've ever visited...cheers to you all  :2vrolijk_21:  I've already got the Stock height CV windshield, grooved rider passenger floor boards and Fullsac baffles waiting in the garage. the weather here in GA has been pretty mild so far this winter and I'm hoping it stays that way so I can get the bike broken in properly.  I put over 20K on my 04 Road King Custom in Germany so I'm well outfitted for cold weather riding.

Yes, I was fortunate to get this bike...a Doc had reserved it last July so I asked the Sales Manager to call him to see if he still wanted it and he called me back the next day and told me the Doc relinquished his "hold" so I snapped it up!  Chattahoochee HD over in Columbus GA has an O/B shipping around the same time as mine with no claim to it as yet.  Heck, they'll probably be on the same truck!

Thanks again,  That white stuff surly puts a cramp in the riding season...still, you can ride as long as the roads are dry if you really have the etch!

Jaques, I had the privilege to ride through your beautiful country often while stationed at Ramstein Germany.  My wife and I rode to  Normandy in late July 06.  We were in a group of 9 bikes and the trip took 10 hours in driving rain...it was one of the best rides I've ever been on.  Upon arrival I was surprised (and a little choked up) by the Stars and Stripes flying along with your colors nearly everywhere we went.  The genuine hospitality we were showed as Americans showed just how much your countrymen still appreciate the sacrifices made by your allies in WWII.  Frances' bad rep is undeserved.
