110 CVO HEADS
« on: December 22, 2008, 11:55:40 AM »

On the upgrades where they changed the heads, does anyone know the specs on these new heads? Are they stock heads off of a 96 with bigger exhaust valves? Can not seem to be able to find this information out unless I call Harley Tech and I know that will be wild monkey love talkin to them. Would just like to know exactly what the difference is and how do these heads compare to what is available in the SE wishbook. If you wanted to order a set of new heads or have the ones that you have now reworked?

They're supposedly the same 110 heads with different valve guides. ;)

From what I know of the rework, they change the valve guides and have a different ACR.

110's have different heads than 96's motorman is mocking up a set for a big hp motor when he's done with his version of a 110 motor I will update on this site..96's have the bee hive valve springs,7mm valves and 110 still have regular springs and I think 5/16 valves. The guys are right on the valve guides and acr's are only difference on new heads.Valve guides have a keeper to keep them from dropping down in cly's.Ride safe jdo
