CVOHarley has been a major event for me in 2008. I found this site by accident in a search for a CVO springer, and found a home of people I could relate to or learn from or just feel the love. :drink:

After many missed opportunities or just waiting for that someday that never comes, it finally happened in 2008. I not only got my 1st Harley, it is also my 1st bike, and at my age was going to be my only bike so hell with a starter or "less expensive" bike, I went for the CVO.

So 2008 was a major milestone for myself and I'm looking forward to continuing the experience of riding one of HD's premier bikes.

Thanks for sharing in 2008 and here's to a great new year for everyone here in CVOHarley! :2vrolijk_09:

I told the wife that if I was to spend the extra money and buy a CVO bike we wouldn't have to add anything. It already has the chrome the horse power that I want. It will save me money in the long run as I do not have to buy the extras and pay the labor cost to get the stuff installed. Then I found this site. And have added a few thousand in extras and I do not even have the bike yet...  :nixweiss: There is a lot of knowledge on this site from people that have owned CVO's before that have helped me spend that money. Don't worry, I will not tell the wife about you...  ;D Besides she likes most of the changes that I have planned for the bike. Most of them are for her. :huepfenlol2:

The people on this site made 2008 an entertaining and enjoyable year for me.
I was able to laugh with most of you, cry with some of you, and meet some face to face!
The chat room, what can I say that hasn't already been said. Good Friends chewing the fat and more.
Looking forward to a great 2009, and meeting a lot more of you this year.
God Bless!
Mike

I would like to send out a big THANK YOU to everyone, i stumbled on this site during the early stages of considering a CVO bike, long before even thinking about trying to talk the wife into it. Lurking here for months enjoying the chatter, camaraderie and sharing of information made the buying decision an easy one.

Yes, my bike also came needing absolutely nothing more than the tan seat moved from the road king to the new SEEG.  I understand.

Your changes for the wife?  Only for her safety and comfort, right?

Haa haa haa!  Yep, been there and thought all the same things.

Well, anything that makes him look good should be good for her too ;-))))). And anything that makes the bike look good, is making him look good. Aah, I'm getting almost zen-like.
