Was thinking back to all that has happened on this site during 2008.
We each have our thoughts as the big events that happened on the site in 2008.
Here are mine.
What are yours?
No order of importance, just as you think of them and how they may have affected you.
Would like for the Mods and Naitram to chime in with their highlights also!
Here are mine,

1)   Speculation of what would be offered by the MoCo for 09.
The guesses were very close. And Naitram did a great job with posting the info.

2)   The Obama thread.
Who would have thought a thread about a presidential candidate would cause so much conflict.
A great start, a bad ending. But thankfully it was locked down.

3)   Maggie Valley 08
WOW between looking for gas and dodging rain we had a blast.

4)   Sedona Az.
Maybe next time!

5)   Adding a chat room.
Like a fax machine, never realized you needed it till you start using it.

6)   500,000 post
Thank you Neal for a great place to learn and play.

7)   297 people on line July 22, 2008
Talk about a busy place that day!

8 )   Trailer here, trailers there, trailers everywhere.
Who didn't buy or entertain the thought of pulling a trailer behind their bike?

9)   2009 SERG
The predictions finally came true.
It was about time!

10)  Cybil bit the bullet.
But hopefully for the last time!

11)  Rider Down
A great way to keep up with our friends that have had issues!
A great idea!

12)  7000 members!
Who would have thought it!

13)  Don???????? Who is he.
Somehow Don was lefted. But he was found.
And life went on! And we were happy!

14)  Friends
Nancy and I am most grateful for all the new friends we made here in 2008.

Tell us your highlights (and lows) on CVOHarley 2008.

I think, along with what Chip wrote, we can add the the superb work of Sean with the CVO coins and the profits all going to "Good" Howie's mother after the passing of his father.  I think that was the crowning achievement of what this site is about and how we get together to help one of the family.

I second the work of Sean on the coins. They look spectacular (just about got the mounting configuration for the WG figured out) and, even better, we diverted some $'s from our bikes to a worthy cause.

Thanks Sean!!!!

I've only been around a month, but Sounds like this site has had a spectacular year.
Thanks Naitram and all the others who have contributed in numerous ways from charity to a wealth of knowledge for others to share.

Sharing is what it's all about and This has been one great place for that.

A lot of people have put forth a tremendous effort to help others here.

Thanks for sharing and letting me be a part of this wonderful community.

1.) being a member reaffirmed that I really wanted a cvo bike (had a street glide at onset of 2008)

2.) chat feature has allowed me to become good friends with some members.

3.) realized I have spent hours and hours on this site....... don't know if that's good or bad.
