27F in Sacramento
« on: January 04, 2009, 10:49:30 AM »

It's 27F in Sacramento right now.  But the clincher is it's clear and sunny.  Looks like I'll have to get the bike (and the Gerbing) out and go see what it's like.  Just so I know what some of those in the northeast ride in.......... :huepfenlol2:

25F here right now.  Got back about an hour ago from a little breakfast ride.  Fairing lowers, Gerbings, full face Nolan, it's all good.  Nothing like a brisk spring day.

Oh my.  Down that low the C and F scales almost meet.  -40 is -40 on both of them.  So you were about -30 or -31 in real dollar temperatures ??? .  Just suffered shrinkage only thinking about it...

The way it's been here lately Gary I've just given up worrying about it.  72 degrees yesterday.  Clear most of the day.  In the 60s for a few days before that.  Two weeks back we lost almost a week of school for ice and cold.  72 yesterday and 19 overnight.  High today in the upper 20s to low 30s.  But then 50 again by the end of the week.  Don't think about it.  You'll just catch whiplash.

Kinda of the same we've been having, but not that warm on warmest days. Just was a little concerned about you considering 25 degrees as a "spring day". ;) :D :D

Confusing seasons is the least of my "issues."  :huepfenlol2:

There is one amusing part to these sudden temperature variations.  The poor dog.  Little Italian Greyhound with about the same amount of body fat as Pizza Killer (and close to the same height).  Poor dog only remembers it was still almost 70 degrees the last time last evening she went out to take a wizz.  Gets up all squinty eyed this morning.  Yawns.  Has to pee (or more).  And off she goes to the door.

Open it up and out she charges.  Tail goes down.  Butt drags the ground and back legs curl up as she feels that cutting breeze catch her bare belly.  If she had vocabulary you know she'd be saying "Holy Chit How Did YOU DO THAT?"

70 here yesterday and the cold front hasn't come this far down yet, 62 right now but suppose to start falling as day goes on.
